Five Most Popular Christmas Presents for 2009 for Your Mother

Living without an aim is like sailing without a compass.

This is a story about friendship among Gillian, Links of London and I.

At very last Christmas, my grandpa died of a disease, which was very awful. My grandmother had become very sullen since then, so I decided to buy a special Christmas gift to please her. My grandma loves beauty, so jewelry would be a very good ides for her. However, I cannot make decision on a specific one because there are so many choices. Beautiful jewelry is too expensive, whereas the one which could be purchased at my desired price is plain. Then I wrote my trouble on my blog. Soon I received a lot of messages. Impressingly, one of all messages which had been left by Jilian drawed my attention. She told me her grandfather also died recently, after reading my blog, she also decided to buy her grandmother a piece of jewelry.

Then we started our everyday conversation online to determine what kind of jewellery to buy. Gradually, we have found that we have a lot in common. For instance, both of us are interested in folk music but hate the rock music; we both love tomatoes instead of peppermints. Besides selecting jewelry, we also told each other the thing happened in our life, both happy and sad. Finally we found our ideal jewelry with our joint efforts. I bought a necklace in Links of London, and she got CHARM.

Christmas Day of this year is coming soon, and also I've known Gillian for one year, we have become good friends in this year. We have made a decision to meet before Christmas. I've already prepared a Christmas gift for her and it is Links of London earrings. I believe this Christmas will last long.
